When I saw her the other day before we met, I was mesmerized by the look on her face. Bliss engulfed the inner me, my heart skipped in response to her smile. Agitated with this inviting expression I decided to take the next step to talk to this adorable lady.

Despite the cold invite to other guest I decided to test the waters to see if I would be lucky to at least hold her warm hand. Desire had overwhelmed my heart to the brim and I would not hold it anymore.

Holding your hand is enough for me

On this blissful day, the sun was promising a warm welcome. I knew the sky would be blue for me and maybe when the sun sets I would wrap her in my arms and we would watch the beautiful sunset together.

They told me your name is Hope and so I hoped for the best. I walked to the shopping center hoping I would see her. I walked with my mirror in hand trying raise the level of my confidence. My mind was so bust trying to make up my language making sure I would utter the right words. Being so busy in mind, I happened not to see you and was almost tripping when she held me.

We strutted to the nearest shade and sat there. I felt so happy and my heart would not account for the bliss in me. Sitting beside this lady with an amicable look. This lady with a reserved smile that is only visible to few. This whole time I kept looking at her and smiling while she smiled back that is when the right words came.

The shade promised a cute sunset full of love

“Hello Hope, Thanks for the cool welcome.” I said my voice shaded with all the happiness in the  world.

“It is nothing Jeremy.’ she said.

“I like you for real. I also wanted to talk to you for a while now.’ he said.

‘Let’s keep that waiting for a while now. I want  you to keep your smile in your heart. I don’t want to see your teeth at any moment. You do not amaze me in any way. Maybe you should bury the hope you have right in the depths of your heart I am not interested in a smile winner like you, so go to hell!” she said in rage as she walked away.

I would utter anything at that moment. My mind kept rewinding all the words I had reserved of her.

I want to build a palace for the two of us

        Fence it with rose

Build a roof of trust above us.

The feeling I get when you smile

      It lightens my mood

     Awaken the hope inside me

Makes me dream of you alone

This was all trash now I left home with a sunken face almost hating myself for letting myself be humiliated.
