SHE FEARED BEING KIDNAPPED BUT WHAT COULD HELP HER NOW?

Check out  HANNAH AND OLIVER PART ONE of this story

Oliver got to his house; he thunderously banged the door open using his right leg and sat on the carpeted floor.  His both hands had held his head. Those tears, which people would like to, hide publicly were busy rolling down his face.  He held his chin. Looking at the place she had slept, he got up and walked to the sofa where she had lay and got hold of the seat covers. He put them in his nose, sniffed them strongly, and later held them close to his heart. This is the time he realized that he had lost something big in his life. He took a paper and a pencil from the shelf at a certain beautiful corner and put the land cruiser’s identification numbers on paper. He rushed upstairs, wore his big jungle jacket, and also put in place a machete. He was determined to do this. He was going after Hannah.

THE SILENT KILLER: POVERTY

poverty in africa

help and feel good enough to do it. life is really cutting off on these lonely hungry children of the poor parents

Throngs of white-washed faced children, with annoying streaks of faded urine plastered on their calf muscles. They are marauding the slum area playing around with puddles and discolored dirty-looking streams of water which occasionally form when it happens to rain. Looking from the horizon, the ramshackle settlements are closely built together in a bid to support each other. Theoretically, in any case one of the houses at the end fall, the entire row collapses with a thud! Walking in between the crowded aisles and cramped alleyways, all kinds of business men and woman have displayed their merchandise including food products on the walking pathways just above freely running dirty streams. This doesn’t make the slum people feel a bit nervous buying such products but it’s a norm and that’s what they live on. On the back of houses and on mountains of garbage, weak-looking frail mangy dogs scamper everywhere around the place. This is a place where plain Ugali (African Cake) is the only affordable staple food from January 1st to December 31st. as a reader, it’s hard to understand the kind of Economic strains some people go through. Where the residents wash their faces with puddles of water or streams that form whenever it rains. In this settlement, crime happens and death goes unnoticed. In the stalls, alcohol is cheaper to purchase than food thus most tend to stay on alcohol claiming that it takes away the pain of hunger. Where parents force their children to prostitution to at least bring food on the table. In such places, sex is the main form of entertainment between couples such that they have a number of uncountable children of which they can’t manage. This is the daily living of almost half of the world’s population.

TORMENT: GRINDING ON THE SAW

This article revolves around the suffering of human beings precisely either internal or external torture. This can be as a result of natural, political, emotional or spiritual interventions that overwhelm the human heart to a point that they decide suicide is the best option of survival.

suffering africa

heavy tears of the forgotten

There comes a time in life when all you have has been deprived off you; when you feel you cannot move anymore.  The clenching of teeth and wiping tears that never ceases to roll. Your eyes change to red color for a number of weeks until you feel you cannot do it anymore. The feeling is overwhelming and excruciating. That is the time you know the real pain of suffering.

Suffering is an excruciating situation in which you feel so deprived of something that really mattered to you. The feeling prolongs for long depending on the subject it is based upon. These can be in political instability, death, poverty, children exploitations where young children are recruited as soldiers, sex exploitation especially where women are imported secretly or conned for sex-slavery. The get into the world of massive torment and torture. A world that nobody ever wanted or believed they would ever be in. A world where all the voices you know or have heard about are related to screams and anguishing in abject torture.

TYRANNICAL RULING AND SPECTRE OF NEO-COLONIALISM

I ironically laugh when I hear Kenyans saying that we attained full independence over 50yrs ago. When you ask one of them why they are happy, they responds by saying, ‘don’t you see we got Madaraka Day celebrations yearly?’ did we really get full independence or is it just a feigned process that hides itself in the annual celebrations?

STAYING CLOSE TOGETHER

STAYING CLOSE TOGETHER AND BELIEVING YOU CAN MAKE CHANGE

You will hear the village men saying, ‘we fought for our country and it’s our own who are ruling us and we are happy because of that’ Not knowing that the white settlers estimated the recourses they were using and saw there were a lot of extravagance; most of them refrained back in their country so that they could

P.B.P. | POWER OF BAD POLITICS |

UNDERSTANDING BAD POLITICS AND ELEVATING YOUR WAY UP AS A CONCERNED CITIZEN

‘Politics! Politics! Politics!’ These are the usual plangent sounds we view daily in our media stations .What’s bad politics? It is a dirty hide and seek game between the governors and the governed.

WHEN YOU PROTEST, SOMETHING THAT YOU DIDN'T PROTEST ABOUT IS OFFERED COUNTER CURRENTLY ; HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN SOLVED YET?

WHEN YOU PROTEST, SOMETHING THAT YOU DIDN’T PROTEST ABOUT IS OFFERED COUNTER CURRENTLY ; HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN SOLVED YET?

Like a bat, the people in the cat –bird seat can’t see beyond their own nose. They just want to maintain their status quo by grasping all what they can in power .They should look further in the future. Actually, I would say that the kind of politics we have in most countries is a special ticket given by citizens blindly for the enrichment Read the rest of this entry
